Jazmin Ontiveros

Jazmin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her family, however, has its roots in rural Durango, Mexico.  Through her creativity, she takes her immigrant background and urban present to inform her perspective.

She received her bachelor of science in Society and Environment at the University of California, Berkeley, and her masters in Documentary FIlmmaking at the University of Southern California.
